Stefan Cortello, born September 5th, 1971 in Yosemite National Park, CA.        Sacred Ground.

Having been raised with parents of dual nationality, Stefan was fortunate to be able to experience the world around him. Relocating with his family during his formative years to the U.S. Virgin Islands introduced him to the traditonal styles of local and Jamaican reggae music. An impression that has forever been embedded in his soul.

Stefan was nurtured by many local musicians. They could feel his spirit. The tradition was shared. The spiritual journey began. Faith and Love have solidified his gift of sharing through voice the message of the Most High God.

His real life cultural experience and worldwide connections have resulted in the creation of RIDDIM BAND which has become an asset for many traveling Jamaican artists that demand authentic style. RIDDIM BAND's passion will continue to produce original works as well as share the international phenomenon that is REGGAE MUSIC.

TEEJAY - Rhythm Guitars

Teejay Finch was born March 26, 1993 in Longview, TX.

Music was a primary passion from an early age. He was classically trained on the piano, violin, guitar, mandolin, and bass. Early experiences with playing out live included live country cover bands in Idaho and Montana and several singer-songwriter projects that gave him unique perspectives on life. His individual discovery of reggae music galvanized his desire to become a part of RIDDIM BAND.

When Teejay arrived in the summer of 2019 on an Amtrak train from Denver he soon met SteFari. They bonded over music and philosophy and all the trappings of what friendship is built on. Being introduced to reggae solidified his involvement in a new kind of "folk music", and a new encounter with what he could not deny as a beautiful celebration of what brings people of all backgrounds together, music and dancing.
